Don't worry. You can scream. You can hoot. You can holler. You have all the rights to do so. Why?
Because Metroid Prime 4 is happening. Yes, yes it is. Nintendo made this major announcement, winning E3 2017 in one fell swoop.
The best part is that Nintendo showed nothing but the logo during the E3 presentation too. However, we do know it is coming to the Switch. When? I have no idea. It could be next year, it could be must later.
What we do know is that the development is being led by Metroid Prime series producer Kensuke Tanabe with a "talented new development team." In other words, don't expect Retro Studios to work on it.
Even though this is the shortest announcement ever... it is hands down the greatest this year.
