There was a Sonic Boom Trailer in Nintendo's E3 Presentation

Now, heres a little gem that was tucked away in Nintendos Livestream presentation that got surprisingly (or unsurprisingly) very little coverage, even from us.  Well, better late than never, I supposeI present to you the latest trailer for the upcoming Sonic Boom!



I understand Sonic games dont get the attention or hype they used to warrant, but its still a little sad this was so easily passed up, considering it gives us more information about the game itself than a lot of other trailers weve seen so far.   In the above trailer, were introduced to a new snake-like villain who will apparently be teaming up with Dr. Eggman to bring the pain to sonic and pals, who will be using their new wardrobes and skeletal structures to return said pain.

I guess I can see why this might have been glazed over, though.  Apparently the game (like the show thats going to follow it) are very much focused on younger audiences rather than Sonics tried-and-true fanbase.  And near as I can tell the only company that can get away with marketing exclusively to young audiences and getting away with it these days is Nintendo.

Still, since I personally dont hate the new look and still have affection for Segas supersonic star, I figured it would be worth reporting anyway.
