In a recent announcement by Telltale Games, The Wolf Among Us 2 has been delayed into 2019. The sequel to the popular fairy tale narrative game from 2013 has been pushed back to allow for more refinement, and experimentation.

The delay comes as the result of a few fundamental changes here at Telltale since we first announced the game last summer. Taking this extra time will allow us not only to focus on quality but also to experiment and iterate in order to craft something truly special.


A few months ago, Telltale Games fired 90 employees, citing a refocus on quality over quantity. Hearing about delays is undoubtedly a side effect of this direction.

Little else is known about the sequel at this time.
