The Surge, the sci-fi action RPG, will be heading to a dystopian amusement park next month with their upcoming expansion. While the expansion is called "A Walk in the Park," there's little happiness to be had here.

The player explores an amusement park called CREO World that was built by the same industrial complex from the main game for use by the employees and their families. Upon finding it, the player isn't met with happy faces and fun rides, but with hostile robotic mascots and insane rescue teams. A total of 16 new weapons, sets of armor and implants will be added in the expansion for additional character customization.

Focus Home Interactive, the game's publisher, describes this new world:

radically different setting from the rest of the complex, full of branching paths and secrets to discover.

The Surge: A Walk in the Park is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on December 5. The same day is the release of a The Surge: Complete Edition, which will contain the base game, the Walk in the Park DLC, as well as all other downloadable content. If you haven't played The Surge and interested in trying, the Complete Edition might be for you.
