If you recall, two weeks ago Uncharted developer Naughty Dog decided to count down the release of the latest, greatest, and last installment of the Uncharted series, Uncharted 4, with a series of videos showing off the growth and development of the series. In our first episode, we looked at how they turned Nathan Drake’s adventures into a franchise, and after a semi-long wait, the second episode, dubbed “Pushing Technical Boundaries” has finally been released. Check it out:

Several years after his last adventure, retired fortune hunter Nathan Drake is forced back into the world of thieves. With the stakes much more personal, Drake embarks on a globe-trotting journey in pursuit of a historical conspiracy behind a fabled pirate treasure. His greatest adventure will test his physical limits, his resolve, and ultimately what he’s willing to sacrifice to save the ones he loves.

Now, Uncharted 4 always looked like a damn beautiful game, the screenshots and trailers made it look stunning, but now we’ve got a more personal, closer look at how the game’s being made… and we also get to enjoy as Sony strokes its ego in our face. But hey, that could be your thing--I ain’t judging.

Still, the coolest bit of information was merely the scope. While it might be an exaggeration, the claim of ten times the exploitable space compared to the previous games is still very exciting. I can only imagine what other claims and technical feats we’ll hear about in further videos leading up to the May 10th release!
