So, good news and bad news for Brazilians!
The good news: According to Twitter account @ZhugeEx, the PlayStation 4 Pro is finally coming to Brazil on February 19, 2018.
The bad news: The PlayStation 4 Pro will feature of a price of BRL 2,999. Which is equal to $935 USD.
While this is somehow cheaper than the original PlayStation 4 when it first launched in Brazil (it was $1,850 at launch), it still is ridiculously expensive, especially when minimum wage in Brazil is R$937 per month, which is, when converted to USD, a whopping $293.16 (at the time of this writing, anyway). Which would mean a Brazilian with three minimum wage jobs would be able to afford this after a little over a month of working.
Talk about insane. Either way, this is probably why the "grey market" exists.
