The Overwatch Twitter Reveals Zenyatta's Walk

And boy do we have regrets.

Zenyatta, the playable omnic monk of Overwatch, plays an important role in both the physical and political conflict taking place in the game's world. In-game, he always floated over the ground with his legs crossed. After a fan suggested he walk like everyone else, Blizzard obliged.

During a recent Overwatch League event, a fan was seen in the crowd, holding a sign that read "Let Zen Walk." The game's official Twitter account responded to this with a small video. The video, captioned "k", begins with a shot of this sign, followed by unseen footage of an in-game Zenyatta using his feet to walk. The result is far more comical than anticipated, leading many fans to jokingly respond with regrets.

With a stationary pose that says "ghost horse," I barely had enough time to grasp what I was seeing. Not before being assailed with the sight of Zenyatta prancing around the area in what I can best describe as the Urkranian Kazotsky Kick.

Even so, I still want it to be kept in.
