Valkyria Chronicles is coming to Nintendo Switch!

We aren't talking about Valkyria Chronicles 4, which was announced for modern consoles previously, we're talking about the original Valkyria Chronicles.

According to a reveal by SEGA at PAX West this weekend, a direct port of the original game will be releasing on Nintendo Switch on October 15. This release comes not long after the release of Valkyria Chronicles 4, which is scheduled for an American localization on September 25 after having launched in Japan last March.

It's important to note that this will NOT be the remastered version of Valkyria Chronicles 1 released in 2016, but the original game released in 2008 for PlayStation 3.

The original Valkyria Chronicles will cost $20 in the Nintendo eShop. Those who own a copy of Valkyria Chronicles 4 in their Switch library will get $5 off.
