If you don't follow Kickstarter projects that revolve around video games then now is probably a good time to jump in as we just watched a purely EPIC trailer for The Universim. It has the feel of Spore, the building capabilities of SimCity and the warfare of Supreme Commander all rolled into one, at least that is the way it appears from the trailer which you can view below along with its description. Keep in mind that the game footage is "pre-alpha."

Leave the farms and cities behind, jump straight into managing your own planets in The Universim, a new planet management god-game in development by Crytivo Games. The Universim moves away from the typical god-game formula by introducing an entirely dynamic, living world for the player to interact with. This isn't the same static world that you are accustomed to; life goes on with or without your guidance. You are effectively taking control of a living simulation, an unpredictable world that allows you to change everything, or merely observe.

You can view their Kickstarter page here.

So how much are you donating? :)
