The Muffin Men Beat Gale Force in Final Series at Dreamhack Rocket League Tournament

In a true underdog story, The Muffin Men ended up taking Dreamhack Atlanta 2017. The team, consisting of Squishy, Torment, and Gimmick, blasted through three top-tier Rocket League teams in order to win the cup and $20,000 today. 

The Muffin Men came to the tournament without a sponsor, and today they showed that companies might want to get on board. In their first series of the day, Muffin Men swept NRG 3-0 to get out of quarterfinals. After that, they faced the most loved team in North America, G2. After falling behind G2 in the first game, The Muffin Men ended up taking the series 4-2.

The final series of the day was insanely close. The stellar defense of Gale Force had carried them through to this final showdown, and both teams had their ups and downs in the series.
