The Most Watched Game on Twitch is Now Fortnite

The booming battle royale game, Fortnite, is now the most watched game on Twitch! The fact that a free-to-play addition to a somewhat failed game has become this popular is insane by itself, but to become the most watched game on Twitch over games like League of Legends is a feat. It is only the beginning of the month though, so we will see what the numbers look like toward the end of the month. However, as of right now, Fortnite is the most watched game on Twitch for the month of March.

Fortnite can produce some really crazy game stories and is also visually appealing to the eye, more so than other battle royale games like PUBG. So it makes sense it has made it this far on Twitch. Even though PUBG did see a significant increase in audience on Twitch by 23 percent, it was still left in the dust by Fortnite and League of Legends. You do have to give one major advantage to Fornite in that it is not only free, but it is on PC, Xbox One and PS4. PUBG, on the other hand, is only on PC and Xbox One. It should be interesting to see how things pan out over this month as Overwatch League comes back around, but if anything crazy happens, GZU will keep you posted.
