Microsoft wants to make their store better. That makes sense, who doesn't want to improve the service they provide? Though only now are we seeing exactly how they intend to improve it. A major update is coming, and it's loaded with new features.
The three biggest changes are Wish Lists, Navigation, and Device Installations. Each one serves rather varied purposes from each other, but all three were much needed.
Wish Lists will now allow users to add games and apps to a personal list. This makes for easily finding those games you desire but lack the current funds for. Should it also be publicly viewable, it can be used as a reference guide for gift giving.
A Navigation Panel will help users guide themselves throughout the Store. It will list categories and sub-categories on all pages, allowing users to visit them directly at any time.
Remote device installation is the last and most impressive new feature. This will allow users to install their games and apps on other devices remotely. So that next time you're browsing the internet at work instead of working on those TPS reports, you'll be able to set your home PC to download that cool game you found. No more waiting on the download times.
A specific date hasn't been listed for the update's release, though it isn't far off.
