The Lost Bear is a unique 2D platformer in an immersive 3D environment. The game looks like you're watching a play on a stage, all the while you can look around and realize that the stage is part of the play. I hope that makes sense.
"Immerse yourself in the hand-drawn world of The Lost Bear, help Walnut on her journey home through a mysterious land corrupted by the toy stealing Snatcher. Play using a unique combination of fully realised 3D VR environments and 2D platforming."
In The Lost Bear, you're put in the shoes of a little girl named Walnut in a mysterious world plagued with rather nasty looking creatures. The idea of a 2D platformer on a VR device sounds some what lazy, but in reality, it creates an immersive experience that makes you feel like you are a part of the world, when in reality you're looking at a screen, playing a game on another screen.
No release date has been announced thus far, but we'll keep you up to date here at GZU.
