The Last Guardian is synonymous with two things: hype and delays. Coming from the same studio that brought us Ico and Shadow of the Colossus, everyone expects The Last Guardian to be a fantastic and artistic piece of video game mastery. That is, if it ever would come out. The game has been in development and re-development for far too many years already. Now, though, we have a hard-set release date that doesn't seem likely to shift years at a time anymore. So now that "delays" are off the table, we are only left with hype. To help fuel that, a new trailer for the upcoming title has been released.

Check it out below.

The most advertised concept behind the game is the relationship between the protagonist and this surreal dream-beast. It comes as no surprise that this carries over into the new cinematic trailer. It focuses on the element of trust between the two characters for one another and how important that bond is. It seems only the power of love can overcome their obstacles. In other words, you may want to invest in some tissues before The Last Guardian comes out December 6.
