It's been on every news site since Gamescom opened the doors. A couple of jokers put up a clever banner seemingly advertising the mythical Half-Life 3. Of course, it's a joke. Upon closer inspection, the full text roughly translates to "Half-Life: 3 editors who played it before now." So yeah, it's just a cute little trolling jab at Valve fans everywhere.
For a moment, let's focus on something nice from Gamescom.
The most interesting thing is that, while this Half-Life 3 joke has been reported all over the place, there's not much conversation about it. For the most part, it seems like most gamers are over the mythical sequel to one of the most successful gaming franchises of all time. To be honest, if you're not over it, you definitely should be.
