You might have heard that the original Resident Evil's Gamecube remake is being up-ressed and brought to most of the active consoles next year, but while the original reveal of the remastered version of the survival horror classic was limited to screenshots and grandiose promises of revitalized beauty, Capcom has now released a video of the game in action on one of these platforms.

While the game's age is undeniable, the game will be running at a native 1080p on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and will give players the option to choose between the original game's 4:3 ratio or 16:9 widescreen. For those who aren't a fan of the original game's tank-like controls, the remaster will come with some updated control options as well.

Look for the Resident Evil remaster on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360 early next year.
