According to Sony Santa Monica Studio, the final secret Easter Egg hidden in God of War has been discovered, at last.

It's been around three months since the action adventure game was released on the PlayStation 4, but only last week did players discover a set of runes inside Kratos' house.

EVERYTHING BEYOND THIS POINT IS SPOILERS FOR GOD OF WAR 2018

In each of the four corners of the house lies a single rune. When spelled out in the correct order, these runes spell "loki." This would later be confirmed by the Santa Monica Studio Twitter account as the "final secret."

This has led to many feeling disappointed in the mild conclusion for the hunt. God of War features complex puzzles and secrets, some even having to transcribe hidden stories on physical maps.

Congratulations to everyone who joined the hunt for the final secret. Now you can rest.
