The Evil Within 2's First Person Mode is Absolutely Horrifying

As a huge fan of the horror game genre, any news that comes out on a new development or new feature is extremely exciting but this is something that not even I could have anticipated. Playing through The Evil Within 2 in third-person is one way to scare your pants off, but having that extra bit of sight around Sebastian really tames some of the spooky creatures that roam the corridors and fields of the game.

When you take out that peripheral safety net though, the game turns into a whole new beast - a beast that makes an already scary game that much more terrifying. If you ran through all of The Evil Within 2 in third-person mode, then I would highly recommend giving this a try. It is quite a different game in first-person, and it is as easy as flipping a switch on or off in a menu. This update is available on all platforms free-of-charge, so you can see that creepy camera monster up close and personal today! 

Bethesda, you have once again given me a reason to go back to one of my favorite games and scream in a dark room by myself.
