Not too long ago, Sony and Kojima unveiled a special edition PS4 console themed after Death Stranding. The black and white print on the console displayed handprints, with earthly continents in the palm, while the controller it comes with was a translucent yellow, meant to represent the yellow vat that your baby partner resides in in-game.
According to a tweet by Kojima on Friday, there is a game setting that will allow the baby assistant to "talk" to the player, using the Dualshock 4's internal speaker.
"By setting, youll be able to have BBs voice coming out from this BBish controller."
We aren't sure what exactly the baby will tell you, but the idea of a goo-baby giving advice from the palm of your hands is kind of terrifying.
It's not like this is the first time the PlayStation has taken advantage of this feature. Grand Theft Auto's phone calls would transmit out of the controller, for example. But this is the first time the idea has genuinely uneased us.
But you know what? We wouldn't want a Kojima game any other way.
