The 2017 Halo World Championship is Underway

Once again, the best Halo players in the world have gotten together to face off and show who prevails over all. Halo has been an incredibly competitive shooter since its very birth, and nothing has changed with Halo 5: Guardians. If anything, the improved movement, faster gameplay, and introduction of ADS made professional Halo extremely exciting to watch. Halo has evolved an incredible amount since 2001 especially with 343 Industries taking the torch from Bungie.

Many players argue that Halo's combat has been steering more and more away from what makes Halo an amazing shooter while some enjoy the increased mobility and faster gameplay. Overall, shooters have been adapting similarly in the fashion of more fast-paced gameplay. Many shooters took lessons from Titanfall since people realized how extremely exhilarating fast-paced shooters can be.

Whether you agree that Halo 5: Guardians still sticks to the roots of what makes Halo great or not, you can't debate that watching the best Halo players in the world battle it out is amazing, regardless of which Halo it is. If you're a diehard Halo fan, or you're a fan that's recently lost interest, you'll still enjoy watching this tournament.
