E3, of course, is just around the bend, so actual news from actual game developers is scarce as they build up their coffers with news and rumors to unleash upon the unsuspecting world in a torrent of trailers and details that would make any game reporter's head spin. But just like how certain Super Bowl ads will get their own ads trying to build hype, so too do game developers announce what they're going to announce at E3 ahead of time. And today's pre-announcement announcement comes from Telltale Games.
In a tweet, Telltale Head of Creative Communications Job Stauffer revealed that Batman, the latest Telltale Adventure staring the caped crusader and a new telltale engine (which, fun fact, they haven't replaced since the old Sam & Max days) will be out this summer, and that a new season of the walking dead will be released later this fall. This is, of course, the first we've heard of it, but if you're surprised by the news than you really need to find a more transparent rock to live under.
Both of these games, presumably, will be shown off at E3, so, that's going to be some very boring trailers to look forward to. I mean, seriously: I love telltale, but they do bad trailers. Generally. I guess the first Tales of the Borderlands trailer was good until freakin' Jack showed up.
Man, I'm starting to hate a lot of stuff these days.
