Droppin' like a certain billionaire's parents.

Telltale, the developers and storytellers behind The Walking Dead games, Tales of the Borderlands, and Fable: A Wolf Among Us, have their eyes on a brand new IP--the classic, the irrepressible, the almost-as-overused-as-zombies-at-this-point superhero Batman. While the game does promise to be at least kind of exciting, given that it'll host a brand new engine (something the Telltale games have desperately needed for years now) and it'll be the first Batman game in a long time to give equal attention to Bruce as it does to his sweaty alter-ego... it's still a bit hard to be excited by adventuring in Gotham anytime soon.

But hopefully this new trailer will help change my mind.

It looks pretty good. I'm glad there's no Joker in the trailer--as much as I enjoy his crazy antics, he feels like he's quickly becoming the Batman equivalent of Handsome Jack, and we all know how I feel about that son of a... jerk.

Still, not enough to get me really pumped, but when the digital version comes out this August maybe I'll have a change of heart.
