Earlier today, Tekken 7: Fated Retribution is a "true followup" to Tekken 7 according to Gematsu. What comes with Fated Retribution is a new character hitting the roster. Though this character is familiar, I'm certain you currently have no idea of who it could be, because they were never on the Tekken roster before.

It's Street Fighter's Akuma, who is going to be featured in the upcoming arcade update for Tekken 7. Check out the trailer below:

Oddly enough, Akuma is central to Fated Retribution's storyline, becoming the answer to Kazumi's prayers of defeating Heihachi, Kazumi's husband.

Fated Retribution will be featuring revamped character outfits, revitalized battles and "stage appearances."

Funny how Akuma hasn't been announced for Street Fighter V... maybe there's an actual reason for it now.
