A verdict was reached last Monday regarding a teenager named Clayton Russell, who was struck in the crotch from behind by a friend while playing Dance Dance Revolution. The friend, Brandon Hearn, was merely intending on pranking Russell by doing what is known as a "sack tap" -- a quick hit to the crotch, who was encouraged by his friends to do so. Upon dealing the blow, though, the injury went far beyond prank when "Clayton was diagnosed with torsion of the left testicle... Clayton maybe permanently infertile." Ultimately, though, the insurance company declined to pay out the money on the injury due to it being intentionally done. Hearn has stated that he regrets the action, and that he never intended to do such harm.

Sweet jesus, WHY? I HATED sack taps whenever I was a high schooler. Come on, gentlemen, pull yourself together, you're better than that. To the guy who got tapped in the first place, my sincere condolences, that's just hell, no questions asked. To the guys who enticed the whole thing to happen, really hope you've learned your lesson in never pulling dumb sh*t like that.

Smarten up, not nut up.
