Target Smashes Previous Black Friday Sales Thanks Partially to Wii U

That Wii U is a damn good deal though.

Well, it appears that Target is lucking out this Black Friday, as the sales there have smashed last year's record, thanks to the Wii U, iPad, and Apple Watch. Basically, today markets the biggest day for online sales. Why?

For one, the Wii U bundle was named the top-selling item on Target.com, though the iPad and Apple Watch also joined the ranks both online and in-store. Target even managed to sell an iPad every second on Thanksgiving day.

However, the Wii U bundle definitely helped, which is still being sold for $249.99. It's not the price, per se, that makes this the best deal ever, so much as the fact that the Wii U is bundled with two of the hottest games for the system--Splatoon and Smash Bros Wii U.

To spur sales a bit further are the 3 million plus movies that were sold in-store. Maybe, just maybe Target isn't going downhill, considering the recent closings of several stores?
