Guess what you can play for free this weekend on Steam? If you said anything other Tales of Symphonia HD, you're completely and utterly incorrect, because it is indeed Tales of Symphonia HD. The deal, which ends in one day, will enable you to download and play the JRPG at no cost.

Attached to the deal is a special promotion: if you're satisfied with the PC port of the title, then you can always pick it up, at 66 percent off, for only $6.79.

So if you're on the fence about what Tales of Symphonia HD offers, never mind skeptical over the performance issues the game suffers from, then now is your chance to play. Fortunately, Tales of Symphonia HD has recently received a handful of various fixes, which includes increased resolution options up to 4K. However, there is no FPS improvement, so the game will remain locked at 30FPS. Unfortunate, but maybe down the road there will finally be an FPS update.
