Triple A games on Steam's Early Access are surfacing and growing. First, we have seen the DiRT Rally on Steam's community input program. Now, another Triple A developer is bringing a title to the Early Access table.

What could it possibly be?

Here's your hint: TT Games is developing this title.

Oh, and it's right in this article's title.

Stumped?

It's the Minecraft Killer.

Jokes aside, LEGO Worlds, TT Games' own variant of the exploration and building-based Minecraft, has released earlier this morning on Steam's Early Access.

This title makes absolute sense, considering that this new title will focus on the core of LEGOs... building!

The plan for now is to keep the game in early access until the end of the year, then release the game sometime early 2016.

In the final version, fans should expect underground cave systems, enhanced AI, more weapons, vehicles, characters, and creatures. Maybe even multiplayer!

Hopefully, anyway.

So far, this game has received very positive feedback, and plenty of suggestions are rolling in to improve the title.

You all are curious about the features, I bet:
  • Uncover and play with hidden treasures in environments
  • Customizable characters, both friend and foe
  • Race, soar, zoom, and ride on a variety of vehicles and creatures, like helicopters, diggers, horses, and dragons
  • Build a desired world with the brick-by-brick editor tool and prefabricated LEGO structures
  • Modify terrain quickly and easily with the multi-tool
  • Customize your characters in a wide variety of outfits and options
  • Play with real-life LEGO sets, even the current ones!

And plenty more to come! Those interested in taking part of the development can purchase LEGO Worlds for only $14.99. Not a bad price, eh?
