Surgeon Simulator 2 Revealed at 2019 Game Awards

It might be an Epic Games Store exclusive, however.

Limber up those fingers, the infamous doctor Nigel is back again in Surgeon Simulator 2, the follow up to the hit medical game by Bossa Studios.

The new game was announced during the 2019 Game Awards. In the announcement trailer, we see an endless variety of dopey doctors moving the camera from place to place, encountering conveyors, bowling alleys, and more. It concludes with four doctors putting a body together, piece by piece.

Not much is actually known about what will be different in the second game, save for a single concept that both the video and the official Surgeon Simulator website tease: multiple doctors.

"...expect a handful (or four?) of surprises along the way!"

Our current speculation points toward a 4 player co-op mode being a major feature of the game. The best part of the original game was it's potential for shenanigans and silly situations. Allowing players to engage in that same level of fun with your friends would only make it better.

One thing we also noticed was the Epic Games Store tag at the end of the video. Based on previous instances of this and the lack of other platforms being present, there is a real risk of it being an Epic Games Store exclusive game.

More information about Surgeon Simulator 2 will release in due time. You can sign up for email notifications about the game via the website.
