Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Demo Events Popping Up Around the US

Although the release is closer to the holiday season, the hype for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is rising at an exponential rate among fans. If you live in one of the lucky cities listed below, you just might be able to get your hands on it for a little taste before anyone else. During September and October, several Best Buy retail stores will be hosting demo events for this monumental release.

Every weekend from now until mid-October, two cities will be showcasing Ultimate, starting this weekend in New York City and San Jose. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays. The full schedule is listed below.
  • September 8-9: New York City and San Jose
  • September 15-16: Los Angeles and Chicago
  • September 22-23: Dallas and Minneapolis
  • September 29-30: Atlanta and Denver
  • October 6-7: Miami and Seattle
These demos are only taking place at one store per city so keep that in mind if you're planning on traveling. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate releases on the Nintendo Switch December 7, 2018.
