Super Mega Baseball 2 is an arcade-style, well you guessed it, baseball game set to release exclusively for the Xbox One. It was set to release later this year, but Metalhead Software has just released a video stating that they will be postponing the release until next year.
In the video, Scott Drader states that they just aren't comfortable with the current state of the game, and they'd rather polish it even further instead of releasing it how it is. Although this is obviously disappointing to excited fans, delays such as this one are good for the industry and for the player base. Better to purchase a complete game later on, than an incomplete one now.
The video didn't confirm a specific release date, only that it will be coming sometime in 2018.
