Super Mario Maker has done a damn good job when it comes to sales lately. Though the Wii U hasn't done as well as Nintendo's other consoles, the sales of some games would make you think otherwise. Recently, the company tweeted about the success, confirming that since last September, or when the game launched, Super Mario Maker has sold about 3.5 million copies worldwide. In other words, almost a third of Wii U owners own Super Mario Maker, which is a pretty big feat. Not only that, but a lot of people are having way too much fun, as over 7.2 million user-created courses have been played well over 600 million times.
According to Nintendo of America's tweet, if you played every level in Super Mario Maker for one minute each, it would take 14 years to complete them all. That would indeed take a while. 7.2 million courses? Goodness!
Well, when you have stages like the one below, I can see why the popularity.
