Terry Cavanagh is best known for his fast-paced, oddly zen action game Super Hexagon. Now the developer is back with his next project, a roguelike dungeon crawler called Dicey Dungeons, which is playable now.

In Dicey Dungeons, the player must escape from antagonist Lady Luck, playing as one of six characters. Each character has their own unique playstyle, ranging from calculating robots to "I'm gonna wreck it!" warriors. But they all have suffered the same fate, they've been transformed into actual dice! The game features art by Marlowe Dobbe and music by Chipzel, who did the music for Super Hexagon.

The game's official launch will be this autumn, but players can play the game today by taking part in the alpha. Free builds of the game were available since March, and it's now moved into the paid alpha phase. Costing $7.50, you'll have access to version 0.10 of the game, which will update fortnightly. It will also include the final version of the game on itchio and Steam, which will cost notably more.

For more information on Dicey Dungeons, you can check out the Itch.io page, or the official website.
