Super Bomberman R, the Konami-owned Nintendo Switch title, will soon no longer be a platform exclusive. According to the publisher, the game will be coming to PC, PS4, and Xbox One in June.
Suspicions for a multi-platform release began with people noticed a Korean rating for the PlayStation 4 version of the game. At the same time, a proper listing was found on Microsoft's website. The only thing missing was a formal confirmation by Konami themselves, and now we even have that.
Konami has confirmed the news directly to Destructoid. The game will be coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on June 12, with a PC release the following day. Each version will contain platform exclusive characters, such as Ratchet, Master Chief, and P-body.
No word on the price of the game yet, though we can guess it'll be the same price as the already-released Switch game, $40.
Bomberman hasn't been a major title for a long time. There used to be at least one new Bomberman game every year from 1990 to 2010. However, the launches stopped abruptly after. Super Bomberman R will be the first new Bomberman game since then.
