Super Axe Boy Hacks onto Kickstarter Today

Here's another Kickstarter project to look out for. I know, there are a lot of Kickstarter game projects out there, but plenty of them seem actually pretty cool and would love to come to fruition with our help. One example would be the 2D/3D combined platformer Super Axe Boy (not to be confused with Super Meat Boy).

Today has been the unveiling of the Kickstarter campaign, and so far it is looking good. Currently standing at $3,720 out of $28,410, it looks to be well on its way to success.

According to the Kickstarter, there are a few reasons for backing this project:

- You will become a crucial part to Super Axe Boy's development, which will offer 2D gameplay in a 3D environment and a memorable aesthetic.
- You will also get a huge discount, for only $10, you can get a DRM-free copy of the game, which is valued at a bit more (namely $20).
- You can receive limited rewards that are exclusive to Kickstarter backers.
- And of course, have a say in the creator

As for features:

- Unique mix of 2D and 3D gameplay
- Cool indie/chiptune soundtrack
- Huge gameplay variety
- Fresh axe chopping mechanics (well, now...)
