Street Fighter V is one week away from being released, and boy, you can feel the hype in the air, can’t you? People all around the world are just waiting for the chance to get stomped by some Korean player half the globe away, and to celebrate this almost achievement, Capcom has gone ahead and released a new trailer for the game--one that will look at the thus far unexplored ‘story’ of the game. Check it.

"We’re about one week away from the release of Street Fighter V and to celebrate this new era of fighting we wanted to share the full length CG trailer for the game! This features gorgeous animated sequences for all 16 characters from the initial roster and even offers some hints as to what roles they will play in the upcoming story!"

Now, how much it actually says about the story is… questionable. But it's certainly neat, especially to see the new art style they’re embracing for the game--gone are the ink marks and splats, and now we’ve got cube… pixel… blurs. It’s cool, that's the point.

Good to see Ken’s edgy new look isn’t because he joined the dark side or anything, though. I’ll admit to that much.
