Steam's Monster Summer Sale Unleashes its Wrath on Piggy Banks

Yes, Steam's Monster Summer Sale is here, and a lot of goodies have littered the store.

If you can work around the heavy load, here are some of the titles, smack on the front page, that will drain the life out of your wallet:

Those sales are just the tip of the iceberg. There are plenty of flash sales, with new deals every 12 hours. Additionally, as part of Steam's famous sale "mini-games," Steam users can take part in what is called the "Monster Summer Game," where you battle enemy monsters and "help your team level up, unlock new abilities, and achieve community milestones." To participate, you can jump right in, but if you want additional powers and rewards, you will need to increase the level your Summer Sale Badge, which can be obtained via game purchasing, game badge crafting, playing the Monster Game, purchasing an item in the community market, or by trading with friends. As you progress in the Monster Game, you can help unlock special discounts for everyone!

The Monster Summer Sale will last until June 21, 2015.
