So, the election is over. For some of you, this must be a huge breath of relief. For others, the nightmare has only just begun. But regardless of which end of the spectrum you fall on, I think we can all at least agree that it's good that all the debates, flaming, and hatred has at least come to a pause while we hold our breaths to see what kind of president Donald Trump will actually be. But in the meantime, let's embrace the spirit of escapism and start talking about video games again, shall we?
For what better way to relax than a good ol' fashioned Steam shopping spree? All those new PC games to play and enjoy will most certainly help you forget all the problems in the world. And, thankfully, if you find your Steam library is a little thin on games to play, you need not worry: for the dates of the next two big Steam Sales, the Autumn sale and the Winter sale, have just been leaked, so you can go ahead and start saving your cash for a new explosion of digital goodies.
The Autumn Sale will start on November 23 at 12:50 PM ET and run through November 29 at 1:10 PM ET. Meanwhile, the Winter Sale will present itself (get it?) on December 22 at 12:50 PM ET and ends on January 2, 2017, at 1:10 PM ET.
These dates were leaked to us via Twitter, and while they aren't official, it's very normal for these dates to be leaked ahead of time, and they haven't been wrong yet, so while you should still take this with some salt, a grain might be a bit too much. Try half a grain. Or a grain flake. And even if they're wrong, so what? We all already know the sales will be happening anyway, it's just a matter of it arriving pleasantly early or irritatingly late.
Regardless, look forward to that. Saving money is always worth smiling about.
