Starlink: Battle for Atlas is a new space combat game that we revealed by Ubisoft at their E3 press conference. The game allows players to create their own team of starfighter pilots and control them throughout countless battles. You enemy is known as the Forgotten Legion, and their ships are ready to blast you right into a black hole. The coolest feature of this game is its toys-to-life feature that allows players to buy the toy ships in real life, modify them with weapons, and attach them to your controller.
After being attached the controller, the game will automatically recognize the ship configuration and render it in the game for you. Ubisoft also decided to show off a custom attachment system for the Nintendo Switch Joy-Con grips. The game has no official release date, but it is set to drop in Fall 2018 for Xbox One, PS4, and the Nintendo Switch.
The gameplay trailer down below shows off a small amount of storyline, but it mainly focuses on the environments that you will find in the game. It's a really pretty game and the combat looks like a ton of fun. Check it out for yourself and see if you're going to be getting a ship of your own!
