And the release date will give Rise to a lot of Fallout.

During the third season World Championship Series this weekend, Blizzard gave all of its fans in attendance both physically and online a special treat: a release date and trailer for the third and final Starcraft 2 expansion, Legacy of the Void. A neat little bonus, but if you missed it (or just want to watch it again), don’t worry--it’s been embedded below.

And the official release date? November 10th… which is also the release date of Fallout 4 and Rise of the Tomb Raider. So that’s going to be a great day to be a gamer… and a bad day to be a gamer’s wallet.

Still! Starcraft 2 came out five years ago, and the fact that it can be considered a competitor against giants like Tomb Raider and Fallout 4 certainly speaks to its magnitude. And, simply put, every competitive Starcraft 2 player will need this expansion anyway, so it’s not as if they’re going to lose many sales. Still, November 10th--a day to watch out for.
