So Nintendo's relying on more amiibo support. This is great for collectors, bad for those that don't want to take part in the amiibo craze and yet still want the goodies, but Nintendo recently announced that its upcoming title Star Fox Zero will not only be supporting the GamePad's gyroscope, but also be supporting the amiibo figures.

Unfortunately, Nintendo hasn't provided further details, but this does mean that we could get more amiibos exclusively for Star Fox Zero. So, it's at least great to know that there will be amiibo support for the title, but hopefully it won't be be a giant wall in front of some awesome content like a new ending, an extra final dungeon, or what have you. Star Fox Zero is set to release exclusively for the Wii U April 22.
