Star Fox Zero Gets a 15 Minute Anime

Neat. Yep. That's the word I'm looking for!

Who here wants to see a 15 minute-long anime prequel to the upcoming Star Fox 64 reboot, Star Fox Zero? What if I told you it was a collaboration between Shigeru Miyamoto, and Production I.G, the creators of Ghost in the Shell, and WIT Studios, who made Attack on Titan.

Interested?

Yeah, I thought so.

Pretty cool, right? I mean, sure, it was full of exposition and clunky writing, but it was a fun introduction to Star Fox, it taught us about the world, it shows off the mechanics in the game, we get a few memes thrown in, and on top of everything else, there's even some intrigue at the end there--intrigue not present in the original game.

For what it's worth, it's certainly done a good job of making me wish I could play the full game. Not enough to buy a Wii U to make that happen, but still.

A cool little treat for a Thursday, huh?
