Yes, Star Fox fans, you may rejoice, because you have received Star Fox Zero, complete with a release date and a history lesson--as in Star Fox was inspired by Thunderbirds. Subtitle was taken from the kanji of zero, which resonates with the fox tail.

My friends, Star Fox Zero will be released this holiday. From the gameplay revealed, Star Fox Zero promises a cinematic adventure with full utilization of the Wii U pad and the TV. In Zero, you can aim with the gamepad while in first person cockpit mode, whereas the TV will open a broader view of the world, enhancing the immersive experience. In this title, you can switch to different vehicle modes, whether as a walker (once existed in an unreleased version of Star Fox), the gyro-wing, and you can also release bots to do your bidding!

Below you can catch the trailer:

Look forward to it later this holiday on the Wii U!
