Star Citizen, known to garner a hefty amount of funding, as well as delay project after project, has announced yet another delay - it turns out that the single player campaign/module, known as Squadron 42, has been delayed into 2017.
At Citizencon, Cloud Imperium Games stated that the campaign would not make its 2016 release due to the fact that there is still much to be improved, such as the AI logic and mission integration.
The delay is rather expected, considering that 28 chapters make up the game's storyline, and for an FPS, that sounds to be quite a bit of content. Well, unless the chapters are only about ten minutes each. Either way, it's also important to note that, during the closing keynote of the event, CEO Chris Roberts revealed information regarding upcoming updates, also going so far as to display a couple of new features.
But hey, there's at least a massive sand worm that threatens your very existence.
