Square Enix has released their first person puzzle game, The Turing Test. The developer, Bulkhead Interactive, moved on to this after Pneuma: Breath of Life. As the name would suggest, The Turing Test is a sci-fi game set in space. And, of course, artificial intelligence is involved. It would be pretty disappointing if it wasn't.
Pretty intense soundtrack going on here.
The Turing Test puts players in the role of the cheesily named protagonist, Ava Turing. In reality, a Turing test is the way we would gauge whether or not a computer has achieved artificial intelligence. That theme carries over into the game, as Ava leads an investigation on a research base on Europa. She does this by transferring power from various machines. Along the way, she learns about odd events at the station. If that sounds like your kind of gig, check it out.
