First XO, now Goetia. Remember the Square Enix Collective? Yes, the one that supports indie games? Well, Goetia, the point-and-click mystery adventure I've written about previously, will be the first game to be published under the SE Collective banner, and will be available to play during Paris Games Week at the Square Enix Booth.

Developed by the French studio Sushee and originally featured on the Collective platform back in 2014, Goetia has propelled itself in strides towards success by gaining an overwhelming 90% Yes vote ration and celebrating a successful Kickstarter campaign.

To quote the initiative's creator and project lead on the milestone of the Square Enix Collective:

"I'm delighted to reveal the first of a number of projects we'll be publishing through Square Enix Collective in the coming months and years. Over the past two years we've met and worked with a large number of talented teams, and learned a great deal in the process - to help give some of those projects the best possible launch is the next exciting milestone for us here."

And according to Sushee producer Benjamin Anseaume:

"It's a great opportunity for Sushee and for Goetia, to be able to access such fantastic resources and expertise while still retaining complete control over our own destiny. We've enjoyed working with Phil and the team over the past year, and we're really happy to be continuing that relationship all the way to launch."

As a recap, Goetia is a 2D point-and-click adventure that focuses on Abigail Blackwood, a ghost who died 40 years before World War II, as she strives to solve the mystery behind her death and the Blackwood family.

Goetia will hit Steam early 2016.
