Rumors have been brewing for a while now about a Spyro remaster. The idea first bloomed when the Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy released. Since Activition published that project, and they own Spyro as well, people speculated. Now a listing on Amazon Mexico has appeared for the "Spyro Reignited Trilogy."

The listing has the game labeled for PlayStation 4. While it initially contained cover art and gameplay screenshots, those have now been removed. It also claimed a release date of September 21, 2018.

The description confirms that, like Crash, the game bundles Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage! and Spyro: Year of the Dragon together in one engine, with improved controls and high-quality graphics. The listing had a (also now removed) price tag of 737 pesos, which is about 40 USD.

Toys For Bob is listed on the box as the game's developer. They were the team behind the N.Sane Trilogy, and aside from some hitbox complications, they did a fairly fine job.

Despite all this, Activision has yet to make a statement regarding their plans with the IP, nor have they remarked on the recent leaks.

UPDATE: Spryo Reignited Trilogy has been confirmed. Check out our updated story on the announcement.
