Spore! (Video Highlights)

If you have never heard of this game then you have yet to hear of the game of 2008! Yes I beleive that Spore will be the game of the year as it offer everything that hardcore gamers could want as well as catering to the needs of more casual gamers, I have known about the game since August 2007 and now that the release is only roughly one month away I can hardly wait.

Spore is made by the Maxis team led by the pure genious of Will Wright the maker of the sims franchise. It is based around evolution with you starting as a cell and eventually moving through the stages of creature, tribal and civilisation until you finally reach the space phase of the game where hundreds of thousands of planets are revealed for you to explore the galaxy.

Please don't be put off by the length of the clip as it is truly amazing and will give you a great insight into the game.

Spore is released on the 7th September in America, 5th September in Europe and there have been rumours that it is released on the 4th September in Australia.
