Splinter Cell Movie in the Works
Just as Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell series will coming out with a new game next year titled, Blacklist, it appears that some film studios want to expand upon the already successful franchise, with a report saying that Paramount Pictures is the front runner to grab Sam Fisher for the big screen.
Warner Brothers had initial talks according to a report on Deadline.com, but Paramount seems the more logical choice as it has a history making movies based on Tom Clancy's works, including the upcoming Jack Ryan film Moscow.
There was no indication was given as who could portray Fisher but some might speculate that George Clooney would be ideal for the role due to his looks and build however I'm sure the studios might opt for a younger cheaper actor to fill the role.
