The Splatoon 2 demo has been available for download on the Nintendo Switch eShop for quite a while, but until today it wasn't able to be played. The demo is finally becoming available today until the end of the weekend. While it's only available for a few hours every day, you still have a few chances to try out and get a feel of the game before deciding whether you'd like to purchase it or not. The timeframe of available play is pretty limited so you might want to set a reminder on your calendar to make sure you don't miss your chance.

-March 24: 12-12:59 p.m. PT
-March 24: 8-8:59 p.m. PT

Splatoon 2 will be available to play a total of six hours across three days so you definitely want to make sure to have it downloaded and ready to load up. Splatoon 2 will be one of the first games to take advantage of the Switch's online play, so it's a unique opportunity to go out to a nice outside spot with good WiFi and take advantage of this unique feature.

Splatoon 2 is a cartoony looking, paint oriented third person shooter developed and published by Nintendo. It's called Splatoon for a reason. Spoiler alert,  there's a lot of splats. Splatoon 2 will be officially launching on the Nintendo Switch later this year. If you haven't played the original, then definitely be sure to clear some calendar space to try out the demo over the weekend. Your wallet will thank you.
