The long-awaited Spider-Man has finally released on PS4, and players are happy to have such a fleshed out game. They'll be even happier to hear that it's getting a New Game Plus mode in the future.

According to a Twitter conversation with a fan, the Insomniac Games Twitter account was asked whether such a mode would be coming to the game. They then confirmed that they're "working on it now and polishing it up!"

To some games, New Game Plus acts as post-campaign content available for maxed out players. To others, the player starts again from the very beginning with all their gear and stats intact. It's not clear yet what Spider-Man will go for. But given their word choice, it doesn't sound far away.

With all of the side content available in the game, knowing that players can continue on afterward is a huge relief. No more avoiding the main plot for completionism!
